Projects my clients and I worked on together. Some are fresh out the oven, while others are a bit older. I tried my best to give you a little bit of variety in terms of scopes and functionalities.

    Students projects showcase: Médiadiffusion

    Médiadiffusion hired me to design and develop their public website. The main goal is to showcase students' graduation projects (films, games, VFX, 3D, 2D, etc). A clean grid and a neutral design helps focusing the attention on projects, while a multi-criteria search engine allows you to easily sift through the catalog.

  • Institut des Arts de Diffusion

    School website: Institut des Arts de Diffusion

    The Institut des Arts de Diffusion hired me to redesign and build their public website. We started with a logo refresh and a simple but effective graphical chart. We then devised a flexible information architecture based on modular landing pages and well defined content types. An easy to use control panel allows non technical team members to manage all aspects of the site.

    Collapsology portal: scientific publications, books and links

    I collaborated with Raphaël Stevens to create a website dedicated to collapsology, which aims at better understanding the current risks of social and environmental collapses. The main goal is to give the public access to a database of curated scientific publications. Books and online resources on those topics are also showcased.

  • International Polar Foundation

    Event website: Arctic Futures Symposium

    I was hired by the International Polar Foundation to design and develop the website for their annual Arctic Futures Symposium. I worked closely with the team managing the event to make sure it caters to the audience of Arctic Futures and to the the people managing the content.

    EQUAL Day 2019: civil disobedience

    EQUAL asked me to develop the website for the 2019 edition of EQUAL Day: "Civil disobedience and|or the rule of law". The website would only exist for a year, should be easily archivable as static files and was going to change a lot before the event. We decided to build a multilingual site with Eleventy (11ty).

    Craft CMS workshop for designers and developers

    The Little Miss Robot team wanted to level up their Craft skills. I led a hands-on workshop geared towards front-end developers and designers. After installing and configuring Craft, we built a fully featured website together using a components-based approach.

    Building a design system framework

    I worked with the Little Miss Robot team to develop a framework to quickly build front-end components libraries for their clients. Using Node, Express, Nunjucks and Gulp 4, we were able to build the core product in a couple of weeks. Since then, it has been used in production for several projects.

    Front-end design system for ABVV/FGTB

    ABVV/FGTB was looking for someone to build a scalable front-end components library for their Angular applications. I worked on the project as part of a Cronos team for a couple of months and delivered a front-end components library distributed as an NPM package.

    Equal day 2018: Collaborative law and business

    The Equal Partners law firm asked me to develop the website of the 2018 edition of Equal Day, their big annual event in Brussels. I collaborated with a talented graphic designer for the logo and the print work while I designed and built the website.

    Micro website for an industrial designer

    Nicolas is an architect based in Barcelona, with a passion for industrial design and lamps. I designed and built a simple one page website powered by Jekyll and hosted on Netlify. The site is lightning fast, easy to edit through text files and, cherry on the cake, the hosting is free.

    A design system to harmonize StepStone's online presence

    I worked with Central and StepStone's design team to create a library of responsive HTML/CSS/JS components. We created a common design language for all products and allowed design and development to collaborate more closely. The style guide has since been maintained and evolved by StepStone.

    Craft CMS workshop for developers

    The Base team were looking for a modern CMS solution to replace Wordpress. I had been working with Craft for a while already and led a three days workshop to bring their developers up to speed. We then collaborated on a couple of projects to get the ball rolling. To this day, Craft is still their CMS of choice.

    Jekyll-powered agency website

    The talented team of UX/UI designers at Central asked me to help them build their agency website. Using a static site generator like Jekyll allowed us to quickly iterate on the design, while also being able to work collaboratively on the content of the website. Words and code are equally version controlled using Git.

    Website for a 21st century solicitor

    Nisaba asked me to design and develop a marketing website to strengthen its position on the Belgian solicitors market. I developed an identity and content conveying professionalism and reputability, while promoting a modern approach to the job and a no-nonsense business model.

    Modular online case studies for a communication agency

    Tramway21 is a communication agency based in Brussels. We worked together to refresh their branding and relaunch their website. The main forcus of the project was to create modular and easy to create case studies pages using Craft's Matrix field.

    Present a new breed of law firm

    EQUAL is a law firm based in Brussels that believes in new ways of working and doing business. I was hired to develop their web presence. We started with a simple one page website to be online quickly. The second phase consisted in designing and building a multilingual website with Craft CMS.

    Showcase the work of an outdoor photographer

    René Robert is a French Outdoor Photographer. After working together for the International Polar Foundation, he asked me to work with him on his online portfolio. We built a simple but effective system of picture galleries and optimized it to work on tablets and phones so he could use it as a sales tool.

    Princess Elisabeth Antarctica station

    While the International Polar Foundation was busy building the first “zero emission” research station in Antarctica, I got to design, build and maintain the website for it. The goal was to create an easy to navigate website despite the sheer amount of content available.

    The International Polar Foundation decided to invest in its web presence. I worked with the team to design and develop a website that would meet the needs of the organisation, those of its target audiences and those of the team in charge of creating and publishing content.
